Bleh.

I'm in the library.. and it's almost midnight! It isn't fun at all. Well, there is one enjoyable part - when they play the really loud, random music when the library is closing.

So today, around 1, I realized my assignment that had to be turned in by 2 was in my dorm. I was in the wilk, and I had class at 1:35. I walked pretty briskly back to my dorm, grabbed my stuff, walked quickly to the SWKT where I had my next class, dumped my backpack, and gave my friend Sara my extra credit assignment to turn in for me in case I wasn't back in time for class to start, walked briskly to the ESC, turned in my labs, and walked briskly back to the SWKT. Oh man, was I tired after that! But, I made it back before class started!

Hmm..

So I'm kinda bad at updating this; it's been over a month since my last post!

I only have 3 weeks left of my first semester in college, but they are definitely going to be a long and hectic 3 weeks, what with finals and everything!

This is me when I think about it all:Actually, Lindsey (the roomie) took this a couple weeks ago, at the beginning of a week that was filled with midterms and other things. But it fully applies now. Notice the printer in the background of the picture, especially how the cords to it are on it, instead hooked to it. Not anymore! I finally set it up today, because I got a USB to hook it up to my mac on sale over the weekend! I also discovered that there were 3 photo sheets that came free with it, so I printed off pictures, and stuck them on my bulletin board! Previously, I had none.

At the end of the week that was really hectic, two of my friends, Cristina and Alena, and I decided to let out some stress and run around in feetie pajamas. The stress all week led to pent up randomness and hyperness. We were kinda crazy, but it was a lot of fun!

Dressing Up is fun to do!

So last Wednesday night, I was in my dorm doing homework like a good college student, and I heard a bunch of commotion in the hall. I went out and saw a some girls standing at one end of the hall, helping one girl who is entering a pagaent with her walk. They all had heels on, so I put some on too and joined them. One girl brought out an iHome and started blasting music and we just walked up and down the hall like models, haha. Then, we all put on formal dresses and continued our little fashion show, and even took it outside!
Saturday night, my ward had its Halloween party, and I had a lot of fun hanging out with the Scooby Doo gang! I was adopted as their ghost/monster/mystery they're trying to solve. We even started making a video! It was pretty fun! I also won scariest costume at the party, along with my suitemate Michelle. Here we are:

Sorry, Mom.

Mom told me I need to update more. Whoops.

So, since it is October, Lindsey and I have decorated our door. We actually put up the decorations the night of October 1st, because her mom had just sent them to her a couple days before. We were the first on the floor to decorate.

Also, I got a new haircut! I wasn't expecting to get one, but I went to the salon with Chris and Jenna between sessions of General Conference.
There's also been a drastic drop in temperature within the past week.. so cold! It was freezing at the football game! I had on tons of layers, but I still got really cold. That night, although it didn't stick, there was snow! I went outside with some friends and "played" in it. Basically, we ran around trying to catch it in our mouths.

Mark (a friend from New Hampshire) wrote the "Hi Mom".
Mark and Alena were rejoicing!

So, that's all I really have for now.. and I'll try to update more often with more pictures, ok mom?

So I started this because..

So, I started this blog because my mom has one. Isn't that kind of backwards? Don't the kids usually get one first, and then the parents to check up on the kids? Haha, oh well. This week is kinda of stressful, considering I have three tests, and they are my first college tests. I took one already for Child Development, but I still have to take geography and physical science, which are definitely not my favorite classes. Anyway, on Sunday I was able to get a home cooked meal! My friend Evan invited a bunch of us over to his house up in American Fork, and it was really nice. We had a nice dinner, met his family, and played Rock Band for a little while. Here's the group who went over to his house: I'm on the arm, then Layne, Emma, Justin, Brett, Evan (it was his house), and then Daniel is laying on top.

Afterward, since it was visiting hours time in the dorms (which means we can actually go into the guys' rooms and such), we had a surprise party for Brett because his birthday was the next day. As his friend Ari was distracting him by saying she had to talk to him about something, Evan and I literally ran over to her dorm to pick up the cake that she and Justin had baked the night before. Unfortunately, Brett and Ari saw us running. So I shouted out some lame excuse as to why we were running, and we kept going. Thankfully, Brett didn't suspect anything and was surprised, well until he saw the streamers surrounding his door.

I've been out here a month, and here are a couple pictures to show a little of what's been going on.

Top picture: my roommate Lindsey and I got bored one night and dressed up 80's.
Second Picture: Same night as the top one, But add Brett and Justin into the mix. They were our paparazzi - and it was raining so that's why they're wet.
Third: Me, Mallory, and Alena just messing around.
Fourth: First football game! Me, Jane, and Mallory.
Fifth: Again messing around - Beau, me and Alena
Last: I had just met these guys the same night this picture was taken - which was only a week ago! haha. Jeff, me and Casey. Casey's dad is in Diamond Rio and he too can sing and play the piano really well, which is sweet!
