So I started this because..

So, I started this blog because my mom has one. Isn't that kind of backwards? Don't the kids usually get one first, and then the parents to check up on the kids? Haha, oh well. This week is kinda of stressful, considering I have three tests, and they are my first college tests. I took one already for Child Development, but I still have to take geography and physical science, which are definitely not my favorite classes. Anyway, on Sunday I was able to get a home cooked meal! My friend Evan invited a bunch of us over to his house up in American Fork, and it was really nice. We had a nice dinner, met his family, and played Rock Band for a little while. Here's the group who went over to his house: I'm on the arm, then Layne, Emma, Justin, Brett, Evan (it was his house), and then Daniel is laying on top.

Afterward, since it was visiting hours time in the dorms (which means we can actually go into the guys' rooms and such), we had a surprise party for Brett because his birthday was the next day. As his friend Ari was distracting him by saying she had to talk to him about something, Evan and I literally ran over to her dorm to pick up the cake that she and Justin had baked the night before. Unfortunately, Brett and Ari saw us running. So I shouted out some lame excuse as to why we were running, and we kept going. Thankfully, Brett didn't suspect anything and was surprised, well until he saw the streamers surrounding his door.

I've been out here a month, and here are a couple pictures to show a little of what's been going on.

Top picture: my roommate Lindsey and I got bored one night and dressed up 80's.
Second Picture: Same night as the top one, But add Brett and Justin into the mix. They were our paparazzi - and it was raining so that's why they're wet.
Third: Me, Mallory, and Alena just messing around.
Fourth: First football game! Me, Jane, and Mallory.
Fifth: Again messing around - Beau, me and Alena
Last: I had just met these guys the same night this picture was taken - which was only a week ago! haha. Jeff, me and Casey. Casey's dad is in Diamond Rio and he too can sing and play the piano really well, which is sweet!
